Problem

This project came during FORTE’s second year after rebranding from AVI. The previous year’s focus had been on introducing the new identity, but now the brand needed to establish itself further and showcase everything the company had accomplished since the transition.

Initially, the client considered reusing or repurposing the previous year’s opener video. I pushed back on that approach because I believed there was an opportunity to create something stronger, more memorable, and more reflective of the momentum the company had built over the past year.

The biggest challenge was time. I had roughly one week to complete the entire project from concept development through storyboard, animatic, and final animation.

Process

The client gave me a large amount of creative freedom regarding the visual style and direction. Their main goal was to celebrate the company’s achievements and growth over the past year in a way that felt exciting and forward-looking.

Because of the tight timeline, I immediately began working on the script while simultaneously building moodboards and visual direction concepts. Once the script was approved, I moved into storyboarding and animatics to establish pacing, transitions, and overall flow before final production began.

Visually, I drew inspiration from digital environments and futuristic technology, reflecting the innovation and modern workplace solutions FORTE specializes in. Rather than creating a straightforward chronological timeline, I approached the content more strategically by grouping related accomplishments together. Large categories like events and company growth were woven into broader sequences, while major achievements such as awards and the Modern Workplace Report were given dedicated spotlight moments.

This structure helped the video feel more dynamic and intentional, keeping the pacing energetic while allowing key moments to stand out.

Outcome

The final result was a fast-paced opener video under two minutes that captured the energy, momentum, and accomplishments of FORTE’s year. Instead of feeling like a standard corporate recap or timeline, the piece functioned as a celebration of the company’s people, events, achievements, and innovation.

The video successfully set the tone for the event while reinforcing FORTE’s evolved identity and forward-thinking brand presence. The client was extremely happy with the final product, and the success of the project helped strengthen and expand their continued partnership with our team.
